Control Panel for Marine Boiler System
Initially a simple enquiry for some original equipment valve spares, used to control a boiler system on a ship. But, with any older equipment, replacement parts are often expensive and lead times long.
We gathered information and gave our customer two options:
1) Buy the expensive replacement valves and wait 8 weeks, or
2) Buy a new control panel incorporating our modern valve range.
This was fully wired and piped in stainless steel tube as requested for 30% less than the cost of the original valves - delivered in 4 weeks and half the time quoted for the originals.
Quite an easy decision for the customer to make, and it eventually led to a complete replacement of 5 existing control panels.
